Farewell for Nicky Chand aka Avinash Kumar Chand aka Dr. A.K. Chand
There's gonna be a farewell party for a really close buddy of mine. Nicky Chand. Come to think of it, he's more than a buddy. He is a close friend, a distant cousin and a wonderful family member. Reminiscing on the old times, it's just the good old times spent doing what we always do.
When we were kids (some pics for you to see later at the bottom of this post), we are kinda like the naughty little buggers. "The 6 Boys" - comprising of Nicky, Jeremy, Me, Joseph, Dennis and Patrick. Any kinda acts you think is possible, we'll be doing it. We're like the havoc buncha kids who knows only how to have fun.
Times do pass real quickly when you are having fun. As we are growing up, each of us (the 6 boys) are still bonded in our special ways. Even though we have grown older, we do still create havoc at certain points in time. We can't help it. It's just how we work and have fun with one another. Most of our naughty acts are found within our performance troupe called All For Christ, led by Mr. Jason Wong. We started off as dancers and then each of us found our different calling in the ministry. He is a dancer/entertainer/speaker and also handles a lot of minor minor stuffs as well. We've done quite a lot of stuffs, but I won't tell you what the acts are. I'll just let you know on the locations that we did what we did. We had "fun" in Malacca, Segamat, and a few more places, even in our own church (St. Paul's PJ). These antics that we did, will be remembered by all of us. Some might hate us for doing it, some will just laugh it over and some will just forget about it.
A little bit on the background of Mr. Nicky Chand: He studied in SMK DU, from Form 1 - Form 4. Then moved over to La Salle to study Form 5 and completed Form 6 as well, then went off to IMU, did his internship in IMU by tutoring and now he'll be a doctor in a prestigious hospital in KK called The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

I'll be posting more pictures during the farewell gathering this coming Sunday, 6th August 2006. But for now, here are some "oldies" for you guys to have a look at. It ain't nothing much to see, as we did not have digital cameras back then (most of us still use a 35mm film camera), and most of the photos that we have are either too old or misplaced. Sorry about the size of the picture.
